Jackie Hernandez began working for the office of Teacher Preparation in June 2012. She previously worked in the Office of Academic Services at Rutgers-Newark, with the transfer team.  She was responsible for the input of transcript data, assisting in the registration process for incoming freshman and transfer students, as well as other office support duties.

Jackie was raised in Trenton, NJ and is a graduate of Trenton Central High School.  During high school she was a part of the Princeton University Preparatory Program, PUPP.  As an alumnus of the program she was eager for the opportunity to give back to PUPP.  As, the first person to ever have the position as the "Alumni Fellow” she is motivated to set a high standard, and work with students who are following in her footsteps.

Jackie earned a B.S in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Rutgers Newark.  Always having a strong interest in education, she plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career working in the education sector.
